New tyres
Fitting and balancing across the brands on the board out the front, from a set for the family car to a size you would rather not carry in yourself.

Purdie’s is the Dunlop Super Dealer in Clermont. Cars, trucks, 4WDs, agriculture and motorbikes, in a shed you can see from the road with the phone number painted on the front of it.
What goes up on the hoist
Nothing clever, nothing you have to book three weeks out for. If you are not sure what you need, the phone is answered by someone standing in the workshop.
Fitting and balancing across the brands on the board out the front, from a set for the family car to a size you would rather not carry in yourself.
The job most people walk in the door with. Bring the wheel in or bring the vehicle, whichever is easier on the day.
Highway and off road rubber for the utes, trucks and tourers that come through Clermont on the Gregory.
Tractor and implement rubber, handled with the crane truck rather than a pair of levers and some optimism.
A listed Dynamic Wheel Co dealer, so the full range of steel and alloy rims can be ordered in.
Batteries are on the board alongside the tyres. Ring through with what the vehicle is and we can talk it over.

Pull up out the front. The bay is open.
Tractor and implement tyres stand in the yard behind the shed because that is the sort of country this is. They are moved with the crane truck, which is the same truck you will see parked out the front with the phone number down the side of it.
If you have something that is easier for us to come to than for you to bring in, ring first and talk it through.

The yard behind the workshop.
Purdie’s is a Dunlop Super Dealer, and the boards along the front of the shed carry the names you would expect a country tyre shop to be able to get hold of.
Wheels and rims come through Dynamic Wheel Co, where Purdie’s is a listed dealer, so steel and alloy rims can be ordered in alongside the rubber.
Purdie’s has been trading in Clermont for close to forty years. The shed on Capricorn Street has not moved in all that time. It just went yellow.

Purdie’s is on the sponsor list for the Clermont Show, and the Clermont Golf Club has thanked the shop publicly for backing it. That is the kind of thing you end up doing when the same handful of businesses keeps a town’s events on their feet.
Three of the reviews on the Google listing were left by people passing through on the Gregory who needed something sorted before they could keep going: a camper van, a caravan and an old Indian motorbike. Clermont is that sort of stop, and a tyre shop that opens at half seven is that sort of help.
At a glance
“Awesome customer service!!”
“Incredible customer service! I pulled in here at 3:30 desperately needing two tyres for my camper van. From start to finish, I was in and out in under 30 minutes, keeping my trip alive. Honestly, I can't thank these guys enough. Their customer service is outstanding. If every business had service like these guys, the world would be a better place. Thank you Purdies!”
“Superb service puts some of the city places to shame. Well done Purdies Tyre Team”
“We were given very helpful advice about our caravan. Thank you!”
“Was passing through on my old Indian, and had a problem went to Purdie's Tyres. The owner drove me around to another business to get it fixed then dropped me off up town. All of this and neither business would take any money. Thank you both, what a great experience when people go out of there way to help you THANKS AGAIN”
The quickest thing is always the phone. If it is out of hours, send an email and it will be picked up.
Ring the shop. Someone in the workshop will pick up and tell you straight.
